Foxes not be out during day. Only see live ones at dawn or dusk. And they are never still…. The only way a fox would stare at a laptop like that would be if a live chicken was tied to it. I live where there are lots of foxes – they are always on the move and are only seen just before dawn heading back into the woods or at dusk, sneaking cracked corn out of the birdfeeder.
Please read further down the thread. The fox is definitely real, there’s no doubt of it.
Now, I suppose it’s possible that it’s a photoshopped photo of a live fox — but it’s a live fox.

um did u ever think it was a real fox in a different picture and it was photo shopped with a picture of a room with a lap top? you just think about that for a little bit.
This doesn’t look shopped.
I can tell from some of the pixels and from seeing quite a few shops in my time.
There is a good chance that the fox could be a pet. I know several people who own red foxes. They are active during the daytime like dogs, not just at dusk (probably because the foxes don’t have to hunt ^^). It’s true, foxes are very speedy and flighty, but if a fox sees something that catches his/her interest, the fox will stop to take a look. A very good moment in the life of a fox caught forever by a good photographer.

Agreed. Firefox is 110% full of WIN. IE don’t has all teh kewl add-ons and toyz Firefox sez you can has. When I’m at work, I miss mah Firefox. I’ve just begun using it about a week or two ago, and already loves it. Still needz some getting used to, but I R learning quick.

I clicked through a bit and read the article from a Denver newspaper about a fox that bit a two-year-old girl. Apparently the neighbors and parents of the girl had been feeding the fox… and then one day the fox bit the little girl and then the neighbors all said *IT WAS THAT ONE!!* and some yahoo with a gun shot it.
Let me just say… wild animals, yes, wild… all that… but hello, two-year-olds around ANY kind of animal are liable to be bitten. Doesn’t matter if it’s a wild fox or one of those dumbass looking chihuahuas, little kids are too unpredictable for animals to really understand, and kids don’t observe the “rules”.
I’ve seen foxes around here, I always smile at them as they lope along their way. There’s a red fox who lives in the park near the river… I know where her den is, and I saw her leading two kits into it. She’s gorgeous, the kits are fluffy and supercute… and I’ve only told one person where that den is.
Because some jackass will f’k with them, that’s why.
I think it’s a beautiful thing to befriend an animal, especially one who has a choice in the matter. Having said that… you know, be careful.

Double agree! Respect wildlife by quietly observing, but leaving alone. Fennec would be a beautiful pet – cats eat the mice in the house, fennec eats the bugs. Would hope fennec not leave “presents” the way cats do…
Yes. Where my parents live, there are red foxes that stop by the house to check out the activities at the bird feeding stations all day long. So do the coyotes. And the raccoons. And the skunks. And the porcupines. And the deer. And the occasional black bear. People gotta remember that WE’RE the ones moving into their turf, and not the other way around, and these original inhabitants deserve respect and the right to be left alone.
Well, they deserve at the VERY least the common courtesy of not siccing your damn 2-year-old on them. Please, who leaves a 2-year-old unattended with an animal? (says the person who has no kids at this point)… I mean… honestly.

Sunnshyne have bestest frend who haz a fox fur a pet — she gotz him from a pelt farm, cuz his fur wasn’t pretty enuf, and the farmr gave him to Sunnshyne’s bestest friend.
Him is a supercool pet — sumtymes actz liek a dawg, sumtyms actz liek a kitteh, alwayz actz like a four-legged best frend. Him is old, now too — almos 20 yeers old, and still is in reely good helf.
Berry challenging, tho, to fynd vet who kin tek care of foxes — dey can’t take all the medicines dat kittehs and dawgs take.
Not recommended to adoptz wild aminals (fox wasn’t wild, was borned on da fur farm), but dis is a happy storee of a forever home.
Dat do me heart good. Fox get snorgled while furs is ON IT. only kind of furs that people should has. My bebeh Lucy likes do drape herself arounds me, and I like the rumbly warm furs. And the attached nose-sicle.
