A certain cat of mine … no I won’t tell you who he is … ok ok ok it’s The Catburger … he liked to lick cotton balls. He’d get up onto the bathroom counter, snag one out of the basket, and go *nom nom nom*. Except cotton + kittung = cotton stuck to kittung = PLEH.
So he’d sit there going :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p :p until he could get it off. And when his kittung was free, he’d go get ‘nother one.
Lolz! That’s so kewt! If you can, you should take a picture when that happens again and submit it.

during my brief but not uneventful military career, we were shown the approved way to ’spitshine’ our boots…
basically, this involved popping a cotton ball in our mouth and soaking it in saliva (mmmm, tasty…) before rubbing the c.b. in boot polish then applying same to boot.
made a good shine ‘ventually, but made me think peepl not much smarter than katz, exspecially if those peepl join d’army.

What made me laugh even harder: Snick, my own personal LOLCat, did almost EXACTLY the same thing today. In his case it wasn’t a cotton ball, it was a piece of unidentified floof that caused the extensive PLEH. And my delightful little dingbat didn’t dislodge the floof–he ATE it.
(I, however, am convinced that my cats are smarter than I am; if I was the smart one, I would have figured out a way to nap on the sofa and chase gnats all day while THEY went to work.)
