I believe that violates the rules. one cannot be in a safe place when they call it, although they are allowed the 2 seconds to get to a sfe place as everyone else is. THis poor cat was not touching to ground, thus it broke the rules, thus it gets declawed.

basically, when you’re touching the ground, you can yell “the floor is lava!” Everyone within hearing range then has 2 seconds to get to a safe area, like a chair, or table. Rugs do not count.
The floor becomes safe when the person who declared it lava says, “floor is safe,” or when whomever declared the floor lava perishes in the fiery lava below.
Once you have died, you are dead for six hours, although I would guess you would lower the time for younguns to a few minutes.
Aggressive “the floor is lava,” is permitted.
