This glitched my SNES and sent me back to the level after the LAST castle.

This cat is obviously from a Toyger and Bengal mix. Bengal cats are really dull tan and Toygers have that really bright and vibrant coat. The creator of the Toyger is the daughter of the woman that created the Bengal. She used the Bengal to start off the Toyger line since it has some trait she wants and breeds them into the Toyger line every so often. So you get Toyger coloring with spots
It just won’t be used to continue the Toyger line.
