I suggested that caption in a comment on another site where this pic was posted as”gravity check”… glad to see someone picked up on it and actually did the caption. Nicely done.

hey, some of us under 30 folks know some stuff about stuff. anyways, nicely punned.
Can you PLEASE stick some of the more adult-themed captions into linked photos that don’t come up automatically? I love the site, and would love to show my kids…I really don’t think I should have to explain buttsex to a 10-year old girl, who would enjoy the majority of the other pictures.

HAY WHERE MAH OTHER LEG?
Oh come on, people under 30 know who Tommy is… they put it on Broadway!
(but srsly, I’m 30 and first heard Tommy when I was 15).
Maybe only us under 30s who likes kitties knows about Tommy… cuz I know a TON of under 30s who would have no idea what we was talkin about.

Well if you were smart enough to realize that there is a chance this site will have captions that may be questionable in certain situations and environments, DON’T LOOK AT THE IN THOSE SITUATIONS AND/OR ENVIRONMENTS. Common sense people… use it.
Keep up the good work Burgers.. You guys rock.
Thanks for the ideas… I’ll get on way to make us more work friendly.

Not all of us under 30 are asking “who?”
As much as I find overly-PC procedures annoying and stupid, I really dont think this is funny enough to warrant the graphic nature of the caption. If this were a HILARIOUS caption, that would be another story! Overall I love this site and i wuv meh some kitteh n bunneh lolzzzzzz
Invisible Pinball definitely gets my vote, though I was a little embarrassed for the poster who thinks “Tommy” is somehow an obscure reference.
exactly, I was a teenager when I saw the Who’s musical “Tommy” and of course know and love ALL the songs and guest stars. I EVEN know that Mr. Jackson was to be the Pinball Wizard, but was talked out of it by Elton John. I grew up listening to the Who, and am only 23 now. Most EVERYONE I know knows of the Who and Pete Townshend, Roger Daltrey, John Entwistle and the late Keith Moon. And Tina Turner as the Acid Queen! Awesome!
So just letting you know that the public schools, at least in the mid-west are doing their jobs when it comes to academics and music/drama.
Anyhow, I’d say go with the pinball machine or giant burger, both are great ideas, although the PB machine is more original. GL and have fun : D

Kloud– bite me.
No, seriously.
If you were smart enough to know that some people enjoy sharing pictures with their family, you’d realise that 100 appropriate pics in a row raise an expectation of the 101st being appropriate too.
There is no “Adult Content” warning on this site, several pics have been buried because they were inappropriate (and only mildly so at that), and then there are the open-air available-for-anyone-to-see “buttsecks” pics. All I’m asking for is some consistency. And to be able to show my children something I think is funny without having to blindfold them while I check it out.
Wanker.

i loves the pics & the ‘adult content’ pics too. but! i look at the site first & check for such themes *before* showing the site to my child. i show her the ones that are appropriate & don’t show her the ones that are not. it’s that simple. if you’ve visited this site enough then you know that sometimes adult themes are posted for the grown ups & they’re funny! this isn’t a kids site. you want family fun go to stuffonmycat.com. if you come here expect some nsfw and not-family-friendly pics. this isn’t barney for godsakes. don’t change a thing cheezburger!
I think this caption is hilarious. It had me laughing all day. Love it. Please don’t change!
There are things that are not appropriate for work…like cocaine. Depending on where you work, coke is likely frowned upon and you would probably get in trouble for having nose candy at work. This doesn’t mean you go ask your dealer to make it less illegal so you can keep yourself geeked out on the job.
10 year olds know how to browse the internet and click on links. What would need to happen is have the adult themed captions on a different feed that you have to log in to see, although I think for most people simply having them on a different page would suffice.
Of course I’m in the camp of telling my kids about these sort of things while their reaction is still going to be “eww gross!!” What with first impressions being so lasting.
(Not that I bring it up, but if *they* do I’ll tell them just enough to be satisfied that they got an answer.)
I think with the kitteh speek we’re lucky as well, because even if they read it, they’re not going to realize secks=sex and we could feign ignorance if we wanted.

“buttsecks” is a dirty word now? Are “fanny” and “hoohaw” also inappropriate for work? Maybe you shouldn’t be looking at cat macro pics at work if you could get in trouble for “buttsecks”.
I love the site, including the non-pc captions, and it’s also frustrating when I see ones that I don’t want to share with my son – it’s hard to scroll down and avoid them. Totally don’t want them to go away, though! Maybe behind a cut like you’ve done before? I know some peeps only have computer access at work, maybe.
We never allowed Barney. Gross!
I encountered a concept that makes me UNCOMFORTABLE! On the INTERNET. I am OUTRAGED! If something isn’t done RIGHT THIS MINUTE, I will take my “looking at funny pictures of cats” business ELSEWHERE!
(Get over yourselves, people. If your kids really really need to see some lolcats, you can open that image in a new window – it’s onlt a right-click away!)
Srsly, plz check the site before you show it to your kids. I don’t think it’s fair we should miss out on hilarious captions because your kidz might to see the word “seckz” and be scarred forever. There’s plenty of kid-friendly sites out there, you can’t expect everything to be sanitized for your kidz. We’re all adults here plz use common sense when navigatin da internetz. k bai.

Lazy minds tend to work blue. There were funny suggestions for the caption here in the comments.
I’m not against dirty humor. But it’s usually better to be clever.
plz 2 give me harblz or give me death kthxbai
I have a niece and nephew and sister who shouldn’t see a lot of these pics. So, I save the goods ones onto my computer and show THOSE to the kids, that way I am guaranteed they won’t see something they shouldn’t.
I would advise this same method for any parents wanting to show their kids the cute kittens.
censorship makes lolkitty sad! =(
when viewing random sites on the internets it is genreally best practice to FILTER WHAT YOU SHOW YOUR KIDS. if your child sees something you don’t want them to see then YOU and YOU ALONE are responsible. you cannot possibly expect someone else to censor their site because you don’t have enough common sense to filter your childs media.
A kid safe cat pictures site – stuffonmycat.com
hellz peple, we ben doin sfw’ks for a long tiem.
sfw linz are ok!

Clean Captions Please!
I want to enjoy this site with my kids.
Keep the adult/crude captions separate please.
Get over yourself.
The trouble with the commenters above warning people about being cautious about “random” sites on the web and the language that they contain is that this site is generally child-safe. So when I was showing my kids this site, this photo was a surprise. (I didn’t worry about the harbls photos)
Besides, the caption doesn’t really suit the photo as well as some others that have been suggested. (Now the garfield buttsecks image, that was funny!)
Why not just put the contentious stuff on another page and let US choose which we direct our kids to? That’s not censorship, that’s just helping us make the best choice.
MORE BUTTSECKS PICS!!
Um..plz 2 hav mor buttsecks? plz?
… im scared
Actually, I did check out this website before viewing it with my kids. The first 40+ pages were completely G-rated (maybe the occasional PG). That’s about half the total pages that are archived. I would assume that was sufficient to get a general impression of the website. Now, I wasn’t personally offended by the caption, but it did come out of left field. There weren’t any other captions that were even mildly ‘adult-themed’. That’s like watching half of a movie, not seeing any foul language or nudity, and then out of nowhere, a scene from Caligula pops up. Okay, so, not that extreme, but the point is that it was very out of the ordinary, and it is perfectly reasonable to expect that captions/pictures that are out of the ordinary be tagged or warned as such. Not censored or prohibited, simply cautioned. Otherwise, by the above logic of some posters, I could post a lolcat picture with a bit of human ‘beast-with-two-backs-action’ in the background, and as long as it had a funny caption, it’s pefectly acceptable.
Tagging a questionable picture isn’t censorship. It’s courtesy.
Why do so few people not understand the people under 30 portion of the comment was for the sake of the bloody pun? It wouldn’t matter if they had played a televised concert on every major network the day before his post, it was for the sake of the joke and has nothing to do with whether or not he thinks the Who are obscure.
Chek dis owt! I is gonna squish on de ants over dere! Wotch! Won, tew, chree, timberrrr!
Really,
How is ‘buttsecks’ funny to anyone over the 12-14 year old range? really, it’s not all that clever. I don’t understand why people go overboard when asked simple things, like ‘hey could you take offensive references and move them to another part of the site?’ Just because they don’t want to have to explain to a ten year old what ‘buttsecks’ means, doesn’t mean that they’re bad parents who don’t monitor their kid’s computer usage, or that they want the internet ’sanitized’ to protect their kids.
If we’re all adults here, maybe we should act like it and not lash out.
kthxbai.
EEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWW!
