BonzoGal: Wow. That would freak me right out if I saw my kittah doing that. We used to have a ginormous kittah who frequently put in some quality slackin’ time stretched out on his back, but I never saw him with his forelegs at his sides when he did it. Maybe only certain kittahs are yoga-enabled?
Sounds like an option on the box – “This Kitteh is Yoga enabled”
7 of 2, it takes years of being a yogi for kittehs to keep forelegs at its side.

shivasana is a yoga posture that consists of lying supine with your feet pointing apart and your palms facing up. the name literally translates as “corpse pose”, and it’s generally done at the end of a yoga session to relax.
wut adam said. but – teh werd iz “shavAHsana” (not “shiva”). “shav” (pronownse liek english werd “shove”) iz sanzkrit fur korpse. “shiv” iz naem ub a hindu god, hu iz teh distroier, an hu haz nuffin tu du wif teh asana. (“Shiv” iz awlso spelled Shiva / Siva, an himz haz menny uvver naemz, but “shav” aint wun ub dem!)
