yay for kitty art! it is a good idea for ppl to make art every day. ppl and kitties. and puppies. and other lolanimals.
next step, scrapbooking. I’m seeing claw-shredded doily fringe on readymade books from Michael’s EVERYWHERE, with lots of glitter-ink fish stamping and bad cat poetry… eventually when the kids are grown she’ll get a divorce, leave the midwest, rent a small cottage in malibu and take to cooking with wine as she amasses a massive collection of tie-dyed mumus and ex-lovers…
will she be living like a pack rat with 30 cats?
that goes without saying ;o) actually I was thinking more like a scaled down version of claire’s missing aunt from ’six feet under’, holdover granola not bag lady, with a house like the aunt’s house in topanga canyon but MUCH smaller (maybe in venice instead of malibu, malibu’s thru the ceiling), and a bunch of ex-hippie pals… and maybe a drag queen pal called topanga canyon (which would be a great name for a DQ or pornstar, christy canyon’s long lost half-sister), with LOTS of driftwood windchimes and such… macrame owls EVERYWHERE… hand blown glass bongs on the mantle from a greenpeace type down the block who partied with jimmy at woodstock… she’d be the ‘cool’ mom who got her kids high but then embarassed them by not wearing a bra to parent/ teacher confrences and by discussing her drug and lesbian experiences with their friends when they were home from college, and who she’d eventually come to think of as nice but dull…
we’re not talking about a cat with popsicle sticks and a sponge anymore, are we? are you projecting? you can’t just make up things like macramé owls…
LOL believe me, *I* can – ever see john waters ‘polyester’ where the girl ends up strangling someone w/ a macrame owl? “Lu-Lu Fishpaw: I never wanted to use macramé to kill!” – maybe we should name this one lulu fishpaw in her honor…
by away – this one’s nice but dull children grew up to be paralegals and actuaries, I just decided. she still wonders where she went wrong ;o)
