  1. Matt says:

Poor kitty looks like a broken foot, snuggles it and rubs it’s chin

  2. Cat Butt Squirrel Butt says:

Awwww … I love this little fluffy guy. I would love to hug it and squeeze all of his/her problems away. Specialcat IS special.

  3. stendhalismo says:

special cat looks like he’s about one line of meth and a 40 away from freaking out and KICKING SOMEONE’S A** – I think I would be VERY careful what I said around special cat ;o)

  4. atman says:

you guys shouldn’t make fun of kitties who take the short bus to school.

  5. stendhalismo says:

JFC, it’s like the thalamide baby of kittens… is there a rescue group for this kind of thing? kitty needs a walker and a pair of coke botle glasses… WTF? where is this from? has someone called sally struthers to represent this poor kitten (of course, she’d probably just eat it) – are bradngelia still adopting? what about pam anderson – it IS fur, right?

  6. kitty says:

    hey guys

i like most if these pics on this website! maan! i can laugh my butt off hahahaha but i dont like this picture…its mean! this poor kitten must have pain! i m feeling sorry for it and dont feel comfortable that someone as put the picture of this kitten´s torture in publicity!!! thats pretty weak!!
hope u ll delete this pic from icanhascheezburger.com

and i deeply hope this poor cat is doin alright again!

    • you, my friend, says:

      iz a idiot.

    • Fox says:

…if it was in pain it would either get regular medication like my Special Needs Cat, or it would sadly be put down, like her brother was.. It’s not in torture, probly not in any pain at all. It looks like a bone deformity, which is what my kitty has. (She’s missing a couple.. tried to tell her she left ‘em in the bushes but she doesn’t believe me:p )

      • PYRE says:

It’s not in pain, it’s just a stroke victim. See how an entire side of it’s body isn’t functioning properly? That just means that it’s left brain suffered from a stroke. Inconvenienced, yes, in pain, no.

        • PYRE says:

Wait, nevermind, after reading further, apparently it had foot surgery and the photographer caught it in a “mid-itch” position.

  7. memories says:

the cat is bending her/his leg. no biggie. and is shakin hims/hers hed. again; no biggie.
peeplez wouldnt take pics of broekd kitty, thats just too sad

  8. Pam says:

I found this on a rescue site. The head is just like that because the photographer caught it “mid-itchy” and the cat has since had surgery on her foot; she’ll be fine.

  9. YOli says:

    Hahaha, that’s what I thought…thanks Pam!

  10. viciouskittie says:

i had a kittie that had a “hockey stick” leg..she couldnt walk on it..she walked like a gangsta’…everyone felt sorry for her and wanted to pet the “poor kittie”…until she started smacking you with the hockey leg…then the sadness turned to fear…

  11. cheezburger says:

then the sadness turned to fear

great writin style. i think im in luv

  12. viciouskittie says:

    U pokin fun?

  13. cheezburger says:

nar, u has great proze… is like comedies writin!

  14. ELFNOW says:

    *deet da dee!!*

  15. Eggs says:

i love bendy cat now i knows hims not broked up.

  16. samantha says:

that picture was swiped from a philadelphia-area photographer named kyle cassidy.

he was running a donation drive to save that kitten’s life.

  17. Arynn says:

I really don’t like this picture. I had a disabled cat (retarded, half-blind, mobile disabilities). It does look funny when it’s just a picture, and I would have agreed before I had him, but the cats lead awful, painful lives, and often don’t have very long lifespans.
    So, sadface is me :(

    • Fox says:

I know I just spoke of my Special Needs Cat, but that’s just not true for all cats… She’s missing bones in her back and her paws (like joints are kinda screwy.. big wordedness). She takes regular medication, and had to get a few surgeries, but she still walks all lop sided, and still forgets she can’t use her right foot, and tends to fall off of things. Once I know she’s not hurt, I laugh my ass off, giving her lots of love. SHe’s been alive for 9 years now. So, happy face is me :)

  18. Diana says:

Hey! Is that Cap’n Agnes from City Kitties in Philly?

  19. Diana says:

Hey! That’s Cap’n Agnes from Citty Kitties in Philly! I think she got adopted in December. And Kyle was only one of several people involved with the campaign to save her.

  20. Anonymous says:

    Dude…..

    That really isn’t funny…….

    Its kinda sick.

  21. Futh Zerapy says:

This isn’t a sad story! It’s a sad beginning with a happy ending! Not only did the little purrball find a home, but she led people like me to websites we wouldn’t have seen otherwise and hopefully inspired lots of us to donate our time or money to local shelters, and neuter/spay and release programs.

In our neighborhood, we have a very aggressive release program. The local shelter donates cages and the surgery. In just five years, we’ve seen the feral cat population significantly shrink. One of our babies was a baby feral who showed up on our window and slept outside while our three kitties inside snuggled up with her next to the window. Her mommy was caught shortly thereafter and spayed and is now back in the wild protecting her territory. She comes to say hi to her baby through our window from time to time.

here is the kitties full story:

  22. scarletkitty says:

Thx for the link, Futh Zerapy. It mades me happee and sad.
It was sad to see teh poor kittehs and I feels bad for dem.
Den I sees dey is adopted and it is all better. Kittehs should
    all have forever homes.

  23. It’s a great story. Follow Futh Zerapy’s link.

  24. dreads says:

the kat looks so cute lol

  25. Kitten says:

    special cat makes meh giggle

  26. City Kitties says:

Special cat (aka Cap’n Agnes Greasepalms) went from being a tiny broken kitten to a chubby and happy cat. See updated photos and story here: http://citykitties.livejournal.com/13852.html

  27. kitten says:

Okay, it’s alright, my cats do this all the time, they have no balance, so when they shake they’re heads, the tend to fall over. Someone just caught a picture of it, that’s all. Special kitteh is just special :)

  28. Michelle says:

aww, the poor baby. i’m glad she’s happy now.

  29. yep says:

it looks dead, and that they rotated the picture to make it appear like it was standing….instead of half huddled in the fetal position after being hit by a small moving vehicles tire.

  30. Sparky says:

I think it’s funneh that people are getting offended by this one… when it’s obvious that the kitten really doesn’t have problems…. The picture was most likely taken when the kitteh was in the middle of shaking his head….

  31. echofire says:

    LOOK AT ITS EARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    so cute

  32. XXX says:

Cap’n Agnes is sooooooo sweet! Someone give her to me!

  33. blibley says:

shouldn’t you say I can haz Captain Agnes?

  34. somemadperson says:
