“i” is deprecated, correct tag would have been “em”
is used in xhtml or html, is mainly used in a document with attached or embedded CSS.
u shud avoid it n8way bcuz is gud 4 ur internets practis
Shut up. “I” is correct. Most people wouldn’t know what “em” means.
Cats are smart enough to know that deprecation is meaningless on the WWW and, as a result, the more compact “i” is superior.
Cats are, in fact, old school.

What a bootifl cat, Elin. Thx 4 the lnk.
Actually, is NOT deprecated. It is used for ‘italics’, and is correct in this case. is for ‘emphasis’ and has no set style, just that most browsers format it as italics.
Err, let me try that again!

Just around the corner on ICHC, there’s the cat. Anyone got links to , , and cats?
Actually there is a difference when the computer reads it aloud. Italicized text is not read differently than standard text, whereas emphasized text is emphasized. The same goes for bold and strong.
