I do see though that others seem to be rather childish when it comes to your offense, and are rather rude. This originally was offensive to me, as I know children that were hunted by online predators. However after reading some of the comments I find this rather funny. KyttiXing Made a good point, 14 in kitty years is rather old, so it is actually kinda gross when you think about someone that is more then 100 cybering. Though I do think that everyone should be entitled to their opinion and I can see how this would offend people. Some of the comments to those offended are rather uncalled for, and I am interested to see the childish responses to this, as it seems some do not like people with their own opinion when it differs from thiers

Absolutely. Furthermore, I don’t tend to reply to every post by someone who is offended by a pic. What DOES bother me is when someone says “This is offensive and it should be removed.” This is not Nazi Germany…nobody has the right to impose their opinions on anybody else, and in calling for something to be removed because it made them uncomfortable, that is exactly what they are doing.
Humor often deals with uncomfortable subject matter…anybody who can’t handle the subjuect is always free to move on, even to speak out against it. But they have no right to put my enjoyment of a picture at risk by asking for it to be removed.
okay seriously, im not one of those people that complain about every little thing, but this pic kinda pisses me off. well, just the caption and not the pic. its not funny to make jokes about kids being sexually mistreated or taken advantage of. i know its just a cat picture that some jerk wrote some words on, but i take offense to it. children should never be portrayed in a sexual light, even just as a joke. i really wish you would edit it or remove it. there are plenty of other things to make jokes about.

There are many ways this picture could have a funny caption. “That’s my bank acount balance?!” just to name one.

I find it sad that i need to explain the fundamentals of “why LOLcats are funny” and the #1 LOLcat website, but here goes: LOLcats make us LOL because they are ridiculous. We laugh not because someone wants a cheezburger, but because a cat wants one. Similarly, the notion of grown men cruising for young girls on Myspace is disgustiong, but when it is a cat, it becomes ridiculous, and thereby funny. Why? Because it can’t happen in real life.
