THANK YOU!! i haz a kitteh and since he was itty bitty he would jump in the shower and back out many times while i was in there, i think he liked the noise of the shower curtain moving, but he loved it!! when i brush my teeth, he tries to jump in the sink after the water thats running. and by the way, i think the dude is in the shower so that he can properly wash the kitteh. look at how he has a detachable shower head? its not like he threw the kitteh in and shut the door, some ppl just cannot wash kitteh in sink cuz they make mess!!

In general, cats should not be showered, unless they are dirty or smell bad and cannot clean their fur by licking. If they take a shower by themselves, it’s OK, but don’t let water get into the muzzle/nose (choking hazard) or ears (may cause hearing loss)!.

I voted one burger. This photo is downright offensive to me. I say it
should be removed from the site. Shopped or not.
Cats panic around water. Tub and shower have hard surfaces- porcelain, water
spout, glass doors, windows. Kitteh head could crack!
If emergency bath is needed this is not the way (see link below). You should
not use sprayer around kitteh, the sound alone will cause most panic. It
sounds like hissing! Some cats may be okay but we do not want to encourage
this type of behavior!
There are already videos of cat showers online because people think it’s
funny to see cats panic in fear for some reason. So funny to think of
little kitty thump-thump beating fast in terror, isn’t it? YOU LOL? I no.
Is ICHC another site that helps support people who do mean things like this
to cats? Just like all the people who set up an unsteady surface, put cat
food on it, pull out the video camera, and then send the video to America’s
Funniest? Yeah, real funny ya jerks.
It may be funny after the fact, once you realize your kitteh is okay, but
setting the cat up for a fall is just cruel. How abouts I remove a
floorboard from your bedroom. Back to this photo…
I’ve only known about ICHC for a few days but up until now I have thought

For your information, as long as you are very careful and watchful, giving a cat a shower periodically is NOT — I repeat NOT — that stressful. It all depends on the cat. I had a cat that would come in and take a bath with me. So cool your jets about this. That cat is not actually being hurt.

seriously people, it’s not that big of a deal. my cat gives me a face like that if i just give her a food she decides she doesn’t want that day. i need to give my cat a bath about once a year. she stinks. i wish i could give it to her more but i just don’t want to put up with it. the bath part’s not the prob, it’s dealing with the time it takes her to dry b/c she hates the blow dryer. those wipes they have just make her stink more. i tried waterless shampoo and that just made a mess too. it’s not like the cat in the pic is being sprayed in the face or anything. sometimes we just need to do something to help our pets that they dont like. should we all stop giving them their shots because they freak when they go to the vet? the car ride to the vet is more stressful to my cat than anything but that doesnt mean i’m not going to take her.
the pic does not show the cat running around. she’s just standing there. we cannot make assumptions. if it’s anything like my boyfriend’s cat, she’d just stay there with the frown and not do anything else but withold some love for a while.

Why is bathing your kitty cruel? It’ll be worse if you don’t bathe them and they get fleas.
