One of the silver kitties likes to hang out in the washer. Not the *dryer*, which would make more sense, but the *washer.* He’s like, ooooooh, soapy liquid stuff go in, lots of mommy-smelling clothes go in, maybe *I* go in? And he just sits there, on the pile of clothes, purring at me. Sometimes he burrows down deep in the clothes… mommy not find me in here! But thankfully he gets out before I press “start”…

This one never fails to make me laugh or at least smile, even though I, as a cat, do not have lips per se!

It’s notable that the older entries – and this is one of the oldest – generally have a mixture of comments from different people, in different styles, whereas the newest entries have a uniform white-noise blizzard of identical lolspeak comments written by a tiny group of backslappers.

Being very much a newbie to LOLcats (just over a week) I have found that if I post comments and try to join in with fun and respect, I am welcome. Not every comment is comment worthy, and I think sometimes people think this means that they are “being ignored”.

Like most things in life, what you put into this is what you will get back out of it. If you put in good energy, good intentions, and respect, generally speaking, you will get the same in return.

If someone wants to put bitterness, unkindness, and divisiveness out there, chances are pretty good, thats what they will get in kind.
